Overview Vital professional back-up for owners, occupiers and investors.
Data centres. Disaster recovery sites. Telecoms centres. Wherever it’s held, data is crucial to the success of most businesses today. So accommodating and securing it is a major business challenge. At Jones Lang LaSalle, we have a Data Centre Advisory Group dedicated to that challenge. We understand the exacting and highly technical nature of data centres. We know precisely what you need in terms of power, fibre, security, location and transport links. And we have strong relationships with all the specialist operators and investors in the sector, so we can lead you to sites and tenants when you need them. In fact, since 2006, we’ve acquired or leased some 900,000 sq ft of data centre accommodation for occupiers, investors and developers. Our full service includes site search and due diligence, cost benchmarking, cash flow analysis, lease negotiations, development appraisals, research and marketing plus specialist advisory services such as plant and machinery and power and fibre audits. Whatever your data-related needs, we can supply the back-up. Click here to browse our current Data Centre instructions.

Jones Lang LaSalle has completed the project management of Project Alpha, the fit-out of offices and a Data Centre for GMAC RFC in a Goodmans (previously Arlington) building. The 93,000 sq ft project was negotiated as a pre-let from the developer and incorporates a state of the art 5,000 sq ft Data Centre. It was delivered via a negotiated “turnkey” arrangement as part of the base build delivery. The total project duration was 72 weeks from site establishment and commencement of ground works to fit-out completion. The Data Centre was handed over to GMAC six weeks before project completion to allow equipment migration and testing to commence. Jones Lang LaSalle followed up the lease negotiations with a project management and base build monitoring role. The project was delivered on time and to budget enabling occupation to take place as planned last month. |
